John Ashcroft has resigned as Attorney General. I expect that his replacement will be Rudolph Giulliani. He would be a good choice after his help in the campaign and his former stature at District Attorney in New York. Some will question his moderate stance on some issues but this position needs a moderate in charge.
 
The ironic part...it was Dems breaking rules in Missouri (dead man elected to office, polls open late) that resulted in Ashcroft as Attorney General....

I would be concerned about Giulliani as AG. He has always had his own agenda. Perhaps a role that would not come with quite so much direct power - maybe Director of Homeland Security?
