I had a friend (okay more of a “semi tolerable acquaintance”) any time he lost money playing golf or in a card game, would write a check to cover his losses. On the “for”’ line on the check, he would write something vulgar or inappropriate (usually of a sexual connotation) hoping the individual would be too embarrassed to cash it.

Yeah he was a jerk….
