I will say, I never have understood the hate for Andre Ware. There are certainly worse on some of the top broadcasts...

Beyond that, the greyhound bus with the 56 Kansas fans that made the trip from Lawrence to Conway, SC did it with out a single stop at a Stuckey’s along the way.

Now THAT is an accomplishment!
Well, Sambo's is closed.......

Have you tried listening to the words that are coming out of his mouth?

Seriously, he says some things - far too often - that you would expect from someone just discovering football, not having played it at the highest level.

If he makes a declaration about a play - e.g., replay prediction, schematic analysis, opining whether something should or should not be a penalty, etc. - there's about an 80% chance he's wrong.

He gets the rules of the game wrong at least twice every game.

And, as often as possible, when he says something wrong he narcissisticly - rather than admitting it - either outright lies about what he just said or else tries to concoct some convoluted explanation as to why he wasn't wrong.

In last night's game... (paraphrasing)
Ware: Oh, yeah, they're going to take a shot downfield here. Look for a pass to the end-zone.
[The team runs the ball for 12 yards.]
Ware: Well, they just took a shot in the running game.
[Ware begins "diagramming" the play, explaining why a simple zone-blocking scheme, with one lead blocker, on a running play right up the gut is a creative way of "opening up the playbook"...]

He adds as much intelligence to a broadcast as a hot dog...
