Nate Oats continues to embrace the roster fluidity of modern college basketball. Alabama’s roster shakeup continued Sunday, and as a result another exciting talent is headed to Tuscaloosa.

Five days after requesting Kansas to release from his letter of intent, Labaron Philon committed to Alabama. The 6-foot-4 guard is the 33rd-rated player nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Philon told AL.com Sunday afternoon that Alabama had the “best system in the country.”

35 a game in HS??? Wow, I don't much about him but with his size and diverse scoring ability he's an instant impact guy.

Our guard play is going to be off the charts next year!!!

Here is an article with his higlight video. This roster is going to be incredible if two notables decide to come back.

Great video. He has incredible body control to absorb contact and finish. I know it was HS competition, but you can see how he'll be great getting downhill in CNO's system at the rim.

Only problem I see is he'll have to get those midrange shots inside the line out of his system! ;)

THAT may be what attracted him to BAMA...😎
