LANK/NIL...

I think he is aware of something we all are counting on happening..............and I think, IMO, that he is better than many are giving him credit for
If he had first team reps and the ability to run the whole offense with some game experience who knows how good he could be. He’s got talent. He shut needs a real opportunity. I don’t know how it will turn out but at this point what can it hurt to give him a legit shot the last two games of the season. It would clear up the situation for next year.

I agree 100%

Probably one of the most disappointing things about this season is that we played an entire season and we saw none of the offense we expected to see. Our running backs were barely used. Our receivers didn't get the targets they deserved. The whole offense was just Milro running a high school offense that stood no chance against the better defenses. Why? because he couldn't run a college offense? was it because our OC has no idea how to run a college offence? Was the real offensive genius the Washington oc who bailed on us? Just about the only thing that improved this year was we finally... after 20 years of begging.... actually threw to the tight ends.

I have no idea what they are selling to offensive recruits? It can't be this. They have to be telling them this is all just a gap year just to get by. Or Horrifically. is this the offence?

bench the entire LANK crowd and/or dismiss them from the team. Would have meant the 23 season likely could have been not great, but Saban might still be around along with a LOT of the guys we lost in the portal and could have used the portal to replen the LANKsters in the offseason
If it’s been stated before, my apologies, but just how large and pervasive on the team is the “ LANK crowd “? Is it well known exactly who they are?

I've heard it's 5-6 players. There are folks who know for sure and I have seen a list but don't recall all the names. JM and Booker were the headliners who really caught the attention.

With the lack of production for the WR's and RB's, I worry that we are going to have a mass exodus of skill position players on offense. If they know Milroe is leaving and Simpson has the leg up on the spot for next year, I'd hope they see an opportunity.

The ones I worry the most about are Williams and Odom. Law and Henderson haven't been used much either. I don't expect to keep Jam, Justice and Young......honestly I'd expect Young to transfer even though he's had an increase in playing time.

These guys just aren't getting the ball enough because the QB just isn't able to distribute the ball adequately, regardless of what the play called is.

If I remember the known list of the LANK group, it included one of the the RB's, so maybe he transfers when Milroe leaves?

it's a very real concern for sure. Hopefully as soon as the horn sounds at the end of a AU game, JM will declare for the draft and then we can see what happens.

We certainly lose one of the three between Jam, Justice and Young. Jam is draft eligible but I don't think has enough reps to get a good grade so maybe he's back, and then we lose at least one if not both of the other two. If Jam transfers or goes to the draft, we might keep both justice and young.

If JM leaves after this season, I don't expect a mass exodus of skill players. However, if he decides to come back for another year, that could be a different matter.

Either way, I expect CKD to hit the portal for an experienced QB who can run his offense. The competition for QB1 in the spring and fall should be interesting.

If he comes back, I frankly expect us to lose basically the entire WR, RB, and QB rooms. It would be a disaster of epic proportions that would set the program back years imo.

Simpson will have every opportunity to win tge position. I'm 99.9% certain Milroe isn't coming back. It's why Ty has been content to play the role he has...

The only thing that makes me unsure if Simpson is the guy is that some of our coaches have been following WSU’s quarterback. Could be nothing but it could be a signal that they are trying to get him down here for the spring. I expect us to atleast consider a transfer quarterback

If Milroe comes back in any capacity it might set the program back 10 years. I think it’s understood at this point that his last game at BDS is Saturday.

Yep, I think it’s time to move on. A question. Is it solely the decision of the player, in this case Milroe, as to whether or not he comes back ? If the head coach feels that it’s not in the best interest of the team, can he say, “ Thanks but no thanks. “ ?

Maybe they should be spending more time with the qb's on campus instead of spending time looking elsewhere?
