Le'Ron McClain is showing out on MNF!

Willis McGahee got hurt, and Le'Ron has been running the ball and catching passes out of the backfield. He just blew up a Pittsburgh defender for the tying TD in the 4th qtr.

He has been amazing in last 2 games. When he was at Bama we hardly used him in our offense. We could not score TDs despite making frequent trips to the red zone.

I was ranting about that last night. It is a bit absurd is that McClain runs the ball more in the NFL than he did in college.

McClain ran 37 times for Alabama in his college career and scored 2 TDs. His rushing averages his last three seasons were, 3.9, 4.9 and 5.8. In just a few games this year he's outdone what he did as a rusher his entire college career...

The thing is everyone knew he was NFL bound, hindsight is 20/20 but actually watching this guy run makes it hard to understand why he so rarely had that chance in college.

You should've tried going to high school with him and then see him used like he was at Alabama. Made me want to cry. I saw him run 40 yards the width of the field just to run over a DB one game his Sr year in HS. Hugely under utilized talent. Thankfully, I don't think we will have problems like that anymore.
