“I don’t know if people don’t want to come here or what the deal is, but if we’re going to play in games it just seems that we have to go on the road to do them," Kelly said. "Number one, that’s not fair to our fans and especially when we have a conference schedule that only gives us four home games. We’re going to have to get someone to come in here. No one right now is really excited about trying to come to this place.”

It doesn't help that UGA and Tennessee have cancelled trips to Oregon in the last 12 months. At least UGA cancelled them a couple of years in advance while Tennessee already collected on Oregon's visit in the home and home series.

Never been to Eugene but I had a pleasant stay in Portland for business. Actually, I thought Lake Oswego (Portland suburb) was eerily similar to Homewood. I wouldn't mind going to Eugene for a game. A lot of us are flying to Harrisburg & Pittsburg this weekend-is it really a difference whether it's 1 1/2 or 3 hours on a plane? Now granted driving is a different story...

Why would anyone in the SEC want a Home and Home with Oregon. We gain nothing by winning, but a loss would likely cost us in recruiting.
The stadium is not large, it's too far, for our fans to attend in droves.
Oregon is not a 'Recruiting' Meca...
Not to mention those 'Panty-Waist' uniforms they wear.

I'd go to Eugene to see our boys, but I also know it would never happen. Oregon is a great place to visit. Just don't get stuck living here.

I think we would....just ask CNS. I don't think they asked the right folks. If we would do a home and home with Duke, I believe we would with most teams.

If Oregon wants to play Alabama, let it happen at Bryant-Denny, Atlanta, or Dallas. NOT on the LIBERAL coast. Too far for the RV's.

Why not? Another nationally televised win. OU lost to LSU. Oregon St. lost to Sacremento St. Colorado lost to Hawaii. UCLA lost to Houston. Doesn't seem to be much of a conference. I guess they do need to get Oklahoma!
