In a saucepan, combine all ingredients and boil gently for about 5 minutes. Put in container and refrigerate.

About 22 mg sodium which is considerly less than the 500 + mg of sodium you find in low soy sauce's.

I use this when I go to sushi places and it keeps me under my 1,200 mg sodium diet my doctor has me on.

Thanks for the recipe. As someone who also has to watch his sodium intake, I appreciate all the help I can get! Very hard in my area to find the sodium free boullion powder, though. Any suggestions?

There is low sodium soy sauce on the market which is about half the 1100mg sodium per tbsp and there is no real difference in taste. Some brands may be below 300mg.
