They'll pull the money truck up to one of three coaches' door. Jumbo Fisher, Tom Herman and/or Petrino. The LSU fanbase will won't a PROVEN head coach. Kiffin will get his fair share of calls but in LSU's case, not thinking he's the hire that the fanbase will want to see.
This is just me talking but it seems like the longer Kiffin hangs around, the more it seems like he could be the person to take over after Saban retires. I'm just looking at the moves with coaches on the O side. Seems like they are 1) preparing for if Kiffin does leave OR 2) preparing when Kiffin takes over.
Back on topic, its too early to write off Miles just yet. After the next three games, they could very well be 3-1 or at the very worst 2-2 with a loss to the Barn.
I think there's an angle that none of you are thinking of.....Kiffin?! No thanks. He is only as good as Saban allows him to be. I don't want him around after that leash is gone.
Also. Saban assistants need to start heading out of conference for a HC job. It is getting a little too crowded for comfort in here.

It would be a "victory" for LSU to "take" a coach from Bama. They would think they stole him like a thief in the night, and blah blah blah
