LSU’s Ty Davis Price broke Fournette’s (sort of) record yesterday

Fournette went for 284 against Ole Miss in 2016, IIRC, a game CA attended in BR

Derrius Guice went for 285 in the 2016 finale against A&M, but because of rape allegations against Guice, LSU made the decision to remove his name from the record books, because that helps.

TDP went for 287 yesterday. He couldn’t find a hole or any open space in the first 5 games. According to TDP, it was LSU’s director of performance innovation Jack Marucci (the creator of Marucci baseball bats that are now used from Tball to the majors) suggested new blocking schemes that would work well for him.
