Major Applewhite accepts UT job

You ain't kiding he is impressive. I really am not dis-appointed xcMA left the offense was pretty sad this year and really looked like the kids were more worried about the plan than playing football and winning games!

No blame or dis-pespect to xcMA but we might be better off with someone who knows SEC football !!

That blog is a few days old and is part fact and part fiction. The part about Pendry’s domineering ways also cost Alabama the services of tight end coach Ron Middleton, who left for a better-paying job at Duke, of all places is pure fiction.

Ron Middleton (Associate Head Coach at Duke) himself in the interview below says very good things about CNS dispelling the Austin Statesman blog rumor that he left Alabama because he dislikes anyone at Alabama, especially CNS. Middleton also said that as far as he knew, he thought Pendry and Applewhite worked together well. He denied any rift between Pendry and Applewhite. He said that they were all professionals, there were some disagreements but they went on to get the job done. In my opinion the interviewers kept prying right up until the end of the interview for Middleton to say something in a negative manner but he never did. This is a great interview with some fascinating insight into CNS and the Alabama staff.
