Mark Ingram scores first NFL TD

Atlanta should have thrown more to Julio. He was the reason they made a run at the end. They get close to the end zone and don't even look his way after he is the one that gets them down there. Matt Ryan was off as well tonight. Throws that should have been on the left shoulder were on the right, etc, etc.

The Saints really have 3 guys at RB that can win games. Ingram might not rack up the stats this year, but he'll be thankful for the 3 man group down the road when is career is longer.

As long as the Saints keep running the style offense they currently do Ingram isn't going to get more than 10-15 touches per game, and this includes "touches" via passing. That's how Peyton runs his offense. He uses a lot of different players (especially at the RB position) and in different ways. Ingram went to a great team with regards to potential of winning but he odds are he will not have great individual rushing statistics in this offense.

Not liking the way the Saints have used Ingram so far. Twice today they've had it first and goal from the 1 and both times they've gone a different direction than Ingram. I know they want to get him acclimated to the NFL, but the goalline is one of the main reasons I thought they drafted him....

didnt catch the game today but I never thought of Payton as the type of coach that actually knew how to utilize a true RB. I figured since they drafted Ingram he would but i guess he still wont or try.

I hate watching the Saints. Playing the Panthers today, 10 seconds into the game and Newton gets picked. The Saints get the ball 1st and goal from the 2, Pierre Thomas gets the carry, 1 yard. 2nd and goal from the 1, Jed Collins gets the carry, no gain (while Ingram is in the game.) 3rd and goal from the 1, Brees pass to Jed Collins for a TD.

Seriously, why did they draft Ingram if they aren't going to use him on the goal line. I guess I'll continue to be frustrated.

I guess Ingram has already fallen out of favor in NO. Nearly 20 minutes into the game and Ingram has 0 carries, Sproles has 5, Thomas has 3 and Collins has 1. Definitely frustrating to watch.

I say that and they give him 4 carries on this drive alone (Including a TD) I can't figure this offense out, maybe that's what the Saints are going for though.

What's up with the dancing and taunting? Dancing is one thing but
taunting the opponent is really out of character for him.

Yeah totally out of character for him. The guy bumped in the face mask but he still should have been the better man and not taunted him directly. I'm hoping it is a single aberration for him because that isn't something he normally does. My guess is we may hear an apology after the game. Not quite sure what Roman Harper was doing either, it wasn't exactly T.O. on the Dallas star.

I've watched about 20 min or so of this game, both these teams are taunting and fighting...reminds me of why I've begun to hate watching the nfl.
