Mapp has left the building or he is the building, or he left and took the building with him. We need to put this one to rest as RTO22 said it was reported that he had a Bama offer. Reportedly he committed to Bama more than two months ago and was turned down by the Bama staff. Mapp committing was reported in his hometown newspaper and that along with him being turned down was discussed on some of the Bama boards. The rumor after the fact was he was told that no OL positions were left to fill. Did he have a firm written offer? Who Knows? If you notice on his profile no one else has offered him since. This has absolutely no impact on whether or not Bama signs Andre Smith and it certainly looks like no matter what happens Mapp will not be coming to Bama.
