Michigan lost their best O-Lineman, LT Zak Zinter, for their remainder of the season. They shifted some guys around and now have two guards at RT and LT. You can see how this appears to have impacted their offensive production in the Iowa game.

Michigan has nfl caliber talent at QB, RB, and WR. But it does not appear that any of their active offensive lineman are projected to be selected in the 2024 NFL draft. Video linked below is MI talking heads discussing this issue.

I am sort of in awe that two conference championship games showed such defensive dominance/offensive ineptitude in this modern age of football.

Those yardage totals, punts, and 3rd down conversion rates are....something.

Confusing, I have read Michigan has one of the best olines in college ball. Of course, you’re not saying they don’t.

They won the Joe Moore Award (#1 O-line in CF) in 2021 and 2022. However, they’ve lost four starters from 2021 to the draft/injury, and the replacements (existing starters) are upperclassmen who do not appear to be projected for the 2024 nfl draft.

Michigan fanbase acknowledges this as a concern see
