BREAKING Milroe declares for draft

On my Twitter feed last night, I saw several predictions for the 1st round. I didn't see one person predicting JM to be taken.

Several predicted Booker and Campbell, however.

I'll say this: If a team takes a 1st round chance on JM, I don't really care. He becomes their problem; not ours!!!

Hasta La Vista!

I heard several draft analyst say yesterday that if there are any teams TRULY interested in Milroe being their future QB, they would trade up into the late first round to get him to ensure he had that fifth year of his rookie contract. Having that fifth year on the contract gives one extra year of development at the rookie price tag. However, if someone is just taking a flyer on him, they would wait until after the first round. There is definitely a strategy to all of this.

yeah and some teams are very good at the strategy, and others suck at it. Hint: Look at who is always picking early or in the middle year after year to see who sucks at it

I am evil. I want to see a meltdown.

I have about 3 main thoughts about it.

1) If a rival team (in the AFC or NFC west) to my Broncos want to essentially throw away a 1st Round pick then I’m fine with that.

I’d actually love for The Raiders, 49ers, or Seattle to do it… especially the Raiders.

2) I think that #4 should objectively be picked no higher than the 4th-7th rounds depending on a team’s willingness to work with a project and with the understanding that he might be willing to change positions.

He does have NFL speed and could contribute somewhere other than QB… possibly.

3) Knowing what I know about the behind the scenes stuff from ‘23-‘25 I’d be fine if he were an UDFA.

Jackson Dart has now backed out of attending the draft. Shadeur Sanders isn't attending either. I'm surprised Milroe is still attending at this point. I think word is beginning to leak to Sanders and Dart, there is a good chance they're not going to be taken in the first round.
I’m not following at all really, but I thought Dart was one of the top picks for this QB-weak draft? Who is up ahead of him? Just curious.

I think Dart is the QB most likely for a team to gamble a 1st round pick on… teams have probably put out criticism to try and keep him available for a late 1st round pick.

Ward is the only QB that is highly sought after and will most likely go in the 1st 2 picks.

Sanders might also go early but there are serious character issues putting teams off and I would not be surprised for Dart to go before Sanders.

My friend, we aren't even close to that territory yet. Somewhere in the ether of TF, there's a thread about hats that you need to peruse.

I need to see said thread.

Your wish is my command! :)

(I have it bookmarked and is actually what I click on to get on the TideFans forum!)
