Mods are awful quiet

Yeah... they're moderators on one of a million message boards about college football and Alabama athletics. I'm sure Mal Moore keeps their numbers in cell phone to ask for their advice on big decisions he's considering. That's a million dollar think tank right there.

You have no clue as to how things work . None . Do you know any of them ? I didn't think so . It just so happens that these guys get the true , off the record stories from the writers , players , school employees , some parents , other media members and at least one "coach" . If that is so terrible go to Al.com or somewhere else if you do not find the site administration up to your standards .

I don't use a forum of fans like TideFans as an informative site. I use it as a site for banter with fans. Perhaps you should realize that this is what this is.... a FORUM, not a living press release.

And what proof do you have that they "have these #'s?" When have you seen TideFans release a story ahead of Cecil Hurt or any T-News or B-News guys?

Because I know for an absolute fact that they do . You don't have to believe it but one to three of these guys have far better sources than the newspapers .

You continue to misunderstand my point. Moderators, for the sake of moderators, are no more "in the know" that any normal member. There are a few that work for the media, granted, but as I said before, I'll trust T-News or Cecil Hurt first.

If you think that nothing is ever known until it is reported , then you are truly lost . If you're lucky enough to last around here for more than a few hours you would know it . FWIW , my word is based on experience , knowledge and fact . If you rely on newspapers , you will always be behind the curve . These guys share sources and confirm things between one-another . You can be sure that C.Hurt is a part of the same circle . If you do not believe it , that's your loss .

I have said time and time and time again that I'm quite certain some mods here are members of the media and have their contacts. You continue to pretend I haven't said this because it doesn't fit your point.

My point, for the thousandth time it seems, is that you are elevating the mods to a level of "insiders" simply because they are mods and "you think" they have contacts. You have yet to prove to me that they know anything more than the average reporter from T-News or any other well known and trusted publication. If you have a thread, article, or any other similar information, I ask you for the 6th time to provide it.
