my how things have changed in just 5 years

I was thinking the along the same lines this morning. I was remembering just a short time ago no Bama players were drafted by the NFL. Now they line up for a chance at our guys! RTR.

5 years ago my office's "Bama football corner" consisted of memorabilia at least 20 years old. It's now been updated with photos, etc from the last several years--I love the new look!

Cool. My first date with my now wife was September 29, 2007. Watched Alabama lose to Florida State. As you said, at least the rest of the day was positive.
You guys will always get serious points for remembering that date. I remember the year, and within a month or two.
However, I will always remember being in the hospital waiting for my first son to be born when ESPN was announcing Rich Rodriguez would be our next coach.

The negative reason to remember the day is enough to hold it in memory. Interestingly...that same day in 2009...I proposed to her and she said yes. We then went on to win the BCS Championship. We found out we were pregnant just before the start of the 2011 season...and of course we won another BCS Championship. Our son should be born in the next 2-4 weeks. So he could be born as early as A-Day...or as late as April 27th. Two big days for us Tide Fans.

Well I have to be honest. I would hope I would remember the date regardless, but because of the Alabama game, I have been able to remember it easily - in fact, better than she has. That's how my whole life has been, even as a kid. I remembered events relative to Alabama football.

Wow. We got engaged and married in 2009 as well. We found out we were going to have a baby earlier this year, so those two events for us were also very close to the past two NCs.

I remember numbers by associating them to Alabama football players...drives my wife nuts.

Crazy how similar our life events have been. Good times for all.

If national championships come on your guys significant events I hope your willing to have large families.

We had our first child in 2009 and our second in 2011. He was actually born on A-day 2011. Born just in time for kickoff.

With winning a NC every year we have a baby, maybe we should give the Duggars a run for their money :)

Likes that dedication.

My wife and i were married on December 4th, 1999. The night Alabama won its last SEC title before CNS. I was starting to think my wife was bad luck, but then along came CNS. Might have saved my marriage!!!

The tide has come a long way since Nick Saban arrived. Every season I feel as if I am witnessing some legendary Alabama football players. Some of players that have come through under Saban are some of the best players to come through Alabama. I am loving every minute of it!
