I think Trevor has time to improve since he’s only a sophomore. Burrows is a few years older and improved a lot this year. It will be fun to watch if their teams play each other in a few years in the NFL., along with whichever team Tua is on.
They have both played about the same number of games in college, though.

Listen...how long have you had this crush??? :ROFLMAO:
LOL!!! Had the crush for a while. My son played football, and graduated, with him in high school and is still one of his good friends. I knew he was going to be special. It sure was fun to watch him in high school...never seen anything like it. I just don't think they are letting him do what he is capable of. On the other hand...on a good team...he shouldn't have to do everything.

They have been saying it about Lawrence since he was in HS. And in a way they said it about Luck not in the oh this is the next big thing kind of way. I think its different especially since Tua has injury issues. Tua is more consistently accurate but Lawrence can make some throws that Tua simply can't. Specifically, watch Lawrence throw on the run or while rolling out to either side. It's incredibly impressive.

Granted he has a great team around him but if they win this game he will have played and beaten (as a true freshman and sophmore) an undefeated Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame and LSU. So far he has 8TDs and 0 INTs in those games.

I say this a lot but I'm not an expert. Just a fan and I didn't buy the TL hype until I watched the Notre Dame game before the NCG last year. But after watching him more I've fully bought in. Maybe I'm a fool idk.
I agree with this, by the way. I do think Tua is more accurate. Sometimes TLaw throws a short/intermediate pass that is almost un-catchable due to the velocity on the ball. I also think his tall receivers do him some favors on the long ball at times. But, he can make every throw in the book, and yes...dude is a competitor! Don't let the laid back demeanor fool you.

I live about 30 minutes from his school. I have a few friends who teach there/used to teach there. I remember the day Saban came in the helicopter to try to get Trevor to change his mind. By the way, I kind of like his hair. Long hair only looks good on certain guys. I am sure he will have endorsements from shampoo companies along with Nike, etc. LOL

I’m pulling for LSU but I think the long layoff hurts them more than Clemson.

Add in the fact that LSU has yet to play a really bad game this season and I fear the stars are aligning for Dabo and company.

FunnyMaine is staying at the same hotel as the ESPN sportscasters, wearing Bama gear. He had pics of himself with Pollack, Fowler, Herbie in the breakfast area. I bet it is fun for him to be there but hard knowing Bama is not playing.

I plan to watch the game on mute. It is less stressful for me that way.

I plan on watching literally anything else. I will check in with the Tidefans game thread for the winner.

Burrow has been able to stay healthy. Hope he can stay with it. Don't wish ills on any of these young fellas. Seems like Tua was injured quite a bit in '18, and about half of '19. What MIGHT he have able to accomplish had he stayed 100% healthy?

I saw this on Facebook.. interesting map of what team each state is pulling for.

map-shows-what-team-each-state-is-rooting-for-in-cfp-title-game-based-on-twitter-data
Obviously this data could be way off but if not it’s surprising to see that Georgia would be pulling for Clemson since the majority of fans in that state lean UGA and they have to recruit head to head with Clemson. We recruit head to head with both schools which is why I want them both to lose.

I’ll swap you that guy for 3 million insane Cajuns for the next 6 weeks, either way. ;)
if it was a guy it would be different, its a woman that doesnt know squat about football, she is love with a guy from clempson so she thinks she knows everything about football.......i asked her the other day how many men does clempson have on the field each play, her answer was what difference does that make.....but crows about how great they are every other breath LOL

I saw that LSU has cancelled classes for Monday and Tuesday due to the Championship game. I know they have lots of fans going because it is so close, but that seems a bit over the top.
