First time poster. Usually just follow the forums to keep up with the latest Bama news. Decided to post because I haven't seen this topic discussed or mentioned anywhere. To the point:
During the ESPN telecast of the Hoover -Neese HS game a few weeks back, Neil Caudle, an Auburn QB commit, was at the game and was interviewed by a sideline reporter. After the interview Jim Donnan, who was one of the announcers, made the comment that he had talked to Tubby the other day and Tubby was telling Donnan about how excited he was to have Caudle as a commit, looking forward to getting him in the program, and that he felt he would fit real well in the Auburn offense. Not his exact words, but something close to that.
Is it not a voilation of NCAA rules for a coach to talk about a specific kid before he has signed?
