Interesting article about slick rick, and his run ins with the nzaa. If you read far enough down in the article you'll note that they are once again relying on a "confidential informant". Will be interesting to see how his lawsuit plays out. I guess Brand is feeling heat from the west and the south. We criticized rick while he was at Colorado, but I'm pulling for him now.

So when did Phatimus take a trip to Colorado.

Did you know he wears a deerstalker hat and uses a Krispy Creme donut instead of a magnifying glass when he's on double secret confidential informant watch?

Take this for what its worth on finebaum it was mentioned that the nc2a wouldnt mess with Rick because he had a ton of dirt on them. Didnt here the whole thing so cannt quote but will look on the archives and see it I can find it. Did anyone else here it?

Just wait until Rick Neuheisel is called as a witness in the Alabama case and Alabama officials are called in his case!

All I have to say is that the NzAA is entrapping people by not standing up and saying that they've heard wrongdoings are going on and it better stop. But, if they did that there would be no need for an Infractions Committee because everybody would have the opportunity to put an end to anything they are POTENTIALLY doing wrong.

I say the NzAA is full of Crap and should be taken out! This will also hopefully add to the Senate investigation of this obviously corrupt organization!

I don't know much about Neuheisel personally, but I do know he's a heckuva good coach. I also know that he has a lot of baggage he's carrying around when it comes to the NCAA which may prevent him from ever getting the chance to move back into coaching as a HC at a top-tier D1 school. But I'd love to see him come to Bama as OC and QB coach under CMS. Of course that would be risky with our current standing with the NCAA. But it sure would be fun to watch his offense at Bama.

Sometimes, I wonder if RN is the love child of Jackie Sherrill. RN seems to have that same penchant for having the NCAA sniffing around whatever program he's at. I do think he's a good coach and will eventually get back into coaching. I don't think he's a good fit at Alabama in ANY capacity due to his NCAA baggage. The University simply cannot afford to hire anyone with even the slightest hint of trouble with the NCAA.

I've never been that impressed with him as a HC. What has he ever won?

Even if he was a terrific HC, the scrutiny he'd bring to a program wouldn't be worth it.
