New CBS Bowl Projections (post-Arkansas)

Hasn't an SEC team won the last 2 Cotton Bowl's?
The last five SEC teams to win the Cotton Bowl have had a losing season the following year. It might even go farther back than 2000, but I stopped looking at that point.

EDIT: Actually, this stat assumes that Auburn has a losing season this year, btw. They're definitely on their way. ;)

Well, if this holds true, then I already have my tickets!! I've been renewing since we went to the Cotton Bowl a few years back and beat Texas Tech...so that works in my favor.

Are any Fran recruits still on our squad? I'd love to play him in a bowl game and get some much needed revenge.

Well, I would NEVER want to play in any game with Coach Fran coaching anywhere near us - even if we beat him by a thousand. Just too much history there.

Oh Lordie & the drama: Saban & Fran do not (to put it mildly) "get along" well...

I can't believe they have Rutgers going to a BCS bowl. That's not right. The only way they should go is if they win the Big East and that is doubful. Something is wrong with that picture? I could see if they had a decent NCS, buy they don't.

Wow, they have the Cincinnati Fan/Alumni base doing quite a bit of travel. They have the Bearcats slated for both the International and Papajohns.com Bowls!!! What a postseason for the cats. A record no doubt!!!!!!

Perhaps they only expect 1 Big East team to be bowl eligible this year. Got to stick to the contract you know!
