GM would be far more at home in a pro set offense like CMS was running. That doesn't mean he cannot adapt to a different offensive set. Like others have said, if he is a driven player and shows CNS that he could help this team win now, he will find himself on the field.

Is he comparable to Fanuzzi? We cannot know other than by simply comparing measurements. High School numbers do not translate into SEC on the field performance/success.

Size and speed go to Fanuzzi but that doesn't mean he is the man. GM could be the team leader that we have been looking for.

Bottom line is HOW BAD DOES HE WANT IT!

Is he willing to pay the price, sacrifice, master the play book? If he is, he could be head and sholders above the rest. GM can make it hard for the coaches to keep him off of the field, if not, he's a quiter and should transfer to some other school.

I want him to be successful at Bama because I have read the articles on him and how he loves Bama. He was a great player in high school, a prized recruit, now is where the rubber meets the road.

If he is a great college player it's time for him to prove it on the practice field.
I like your approach. If he's the best player, let's see it. I get sick of these kids pouting about how "tough" they have it and transferring to another school. They rarely seem to amount to much because they realize they still need to work hard at the school they transferred to. I hope GM decides to stay and work his butt off because I think he could be a solid QB.
