It's a sad reflection on our society that so many people's state of mind hinges upon what a bunch of young men they don't know do on a football field.
I get being passionate - but this sort of behavior indicates far deeper issues.

1. If Florida State fans should be mad at anyone, it should be Clemson for being so weak this year and not giving them any kind of schedule strength boost.
2. It's just a game folks. Get some perspective.
3. We just beat the No. 1 team. If the conference championships mean anything, and you beat the No. 1 team, that win should mean a lot in the rankings.
Effectively, we were the 8th seed going against the No. 1 seed and we played into the top 4. Florida State has a good resume, but it's against a below average strength of schedule. I understand, as I would be angry as well if the situation was reversed. It's just like getting passed up by a weak TCU team last year that didn't even win their conference.

Well, this will help the team keep that chip on their shoulder.
If FSU wants to be mad at someone then be mad at the ACC for blocking the 12 team playoff from starting this year.
RBR has it right. FSU is out because of Texas, not Bama.
On the eve of the SECCG, the committee had their four teams. Georgia, Michigan, Washington, Florida State. Texas was first out and Bama was second out.
Then Bama broke the world and beat Georgia. No way are they keeping Bama out after that. There were some here that thought they would but the committee knew better than that. Since Texas won their CCG and had beaten Bama, they couldn't be left out, either. So there you go, 'noles. Get a better conference, beat better opponents and see us next year.
This conversation is so easy to end with any SEC fan whose team has been of relevance since 2006 (LSU, Florida, Auburn, UGA).
I've asked this question to friends from the above-mentioned programs who think FSU "got hosed":
"So, if your team was 13-1, with the only loss coming to one of the teams in the CFP, played a full SEC schedule, had just beaten the undefeated SEC team who'd won the last two national titles, ranked #1 by the CFP. You mean to tell me you'd think an undefeated Florida St team, with the 55th ranked SOS, who'd have to go through the playoffs with their 2nd string quarterback should get in over you?"
Their response....."I hate Alabama"

I also don’t understand why no one is questioning UM’s inclusion. They have more or less admitted cheating and played an embarrassingly weak schedule.
