Can I just point out that without getting blasted that Trump is an Elected official, not a Monarch.

He is not even 6 months into his term, everyone knows he has diarrhea of the mouth. No matter what he says, the American people will not stand for a third term.
The thing they are protesting ,deportation , is the one thing I agree with him on. Well to an extent.
He can be as autocratic as He wants, the courts and In 18 months Congress will not be on his side.
As a right leaning Centrist, I would advise him to be careful, because when the other side gets in power, they will have the Trump precedents.

The true issue of the protest in my mind is taking away from what should have been a huge celebration. I’m not big on Military weaponry parades, that screams of Totalitarianism, but this is a huge milestone for the U.S. Army. It’s just too bad Trump bastardized it for his own gain or ego and the No King protests is seen as anti Trump parade.

I agree with the last part, but I don’t believe he can circumvent the courts as much as he wants to. Oh , sure he defied a court ruling with a ‘Trumped’ up mistake in timing, but that person is back. And I don’t believe the Republicans will control either house of congress in 2027

The Trump people I know think he deserves a third term. This annoyingly includes my parents, sister, and many co-workers, some of them don't think he should stop a 3. When asked, they can't explain why he should get 3+ terms, they just “love” Trump so much that they wouldn't care if he found a way to steal more terms.

For me - the fact that they were waving American flags - made ALL the difference in the world for me to try and understand their message.

I have nothing against Mexico, mind you. But please don't wave their flags while protesting - unless you are in Mexico, of course.
