No love for Bama

Kirk Herbstreit seems to usually find a way to mention us. At any rate, we need to get over this persecution complex. Yes, we were very unfairly treated by the media during the Means mess and then during the hiring of Coach Saban, but not so much lately. Actually, I think we get quite a bit of attention by the media since we thumped Clempson. The more we whine over perceived mistreatment, the more we perpetuate the problem. I honestly think a lot of BAMA fans go waaay out of their way to manufacture something out of nothing.

You are correct. We are talked about in every discussion of college football. There might not be alot of talk this week considering who we play, but we have had plenty of love and attention this year.

Ive heard it both ways. During the ole sis game it seemed like all they were talking about was ole sis.During the clemson game and uga game it was all Bama. But something I heard last night made me think that some of our paranoia is based on fact. I was listening to arnie spanier and all he could do was rant and rave about how happy he was going to be when Bama lost.How he knew that up 13-3 and the half Bama was going to have a let down and lose. He was pretty much yelling that there is no way Bama goes undefeated. He was in love with the idea that p.st and texas were going to play each other. I have never wanted to call a show so badly as I did last night.

You know who doesn't give a crap about "media love?" Nick Saba. Look we will have all offseason to enjoy the media love, if we get any, the more that attention is paid on other teams the better for Alabama to continue to sneak up on people. I don't care if BSPN, or Foxsports, or Cbs, etc, etc don't get the love and respect we think we deserve, I rather Bama earn it instead of being giving it. If you win, everything else will take care of itself.

we cant get all the love every week. i mean glenn coffee and cody are household names. thats what you call gettin some love. nobody outside of the SEC knew who they were last year. I've read like 10 different espn articles on cody. I think u just got used to all that coverage we got after destroying clemson and georgia. we will get it again if we destroy lsu.

If Alabama finishes this season like they're capable of, there's no way Penn State jumps us. This is ALABAMA football. We are not Auburn. We don't get the shaft. We give it.

I've got to disagree. The coverage has been great. The opinions that have gone the other way have been well reasoned IMO.

If we weren't jumped last weekend, it will not happen (unless we lose).

The program is heading in the right direction. Enjoy the ride.

What I don't understand is why many still think that we will lose to LSWho? They've dropped two games (one of which was to a team we owned) and not only lost but lost big! Yes, they are the defending BCSNC from last year but they were a 2 LOSS BCSNC!

I'm not overlooking this game by any means but I just can't figure out why some still think that we will lose. We should be favored by at least a TD.

FLA is a different story but they won't have an easy time this Sat. against the Dawgs. It will be interesting to see (if GA wins that game) if the sports "experts" will then jump back on the GA bandwagon.

I have a feeling that they will not accept it until they have no other choice then, you watch and see, if they all act like they had predicted it all along.

The "experts" just think its impossible for us to go undefeated in the SEC. They feel like we've got to drop 1, so why not LSU? Some feel it will be in the SECCG.

I gotta admit, that I feel like we should win the rest of our games easily. Ole Miss and Tennessee kinda scared me as trap games as both teams do have some positives. Like Ole Miss' offense and Tennessee's D. However LSU, MSU, AU are all games that have streaks against us, and all 3 underachieving (MSU/AU are just playing dreadfully). I feel like we're going to be "UP" for all 3 games and that spells trouble for 3 underachieving teams.

Now the SECCG vs Florida (or Georgia for that matter) is a bit of a scare.
But one thing that gives me a lot of hope in going undefeated, is that our young team is still improving and that was shown last Saturday.
