Thanks for the link. He seemed to be sold on the WV & Fl St offensive setup. He did not mention Alabama's so?????????

If those Sat scores listed are correct, he will be JUCOing it.

A recruit doesn't have to sign with anyone on National Signing Day. That's just the first day recruits can send in Letters of Intent (LOI). In Devine's case, he may not sign with a school right away so that he can take more time to make the decision.

Is he listing medium interest in Alabama, or is Scout.com saying his interest is medium based on that Rivals article the other day?

Scout also says Devine doesn't have an offer from Alabama, but he does. I wouldn't put much stock in what those sites have on the profile pages. If Devine himself has come out and said Alabama is trailing FSU and WVU, then that's a different story. But the latest I heard (yesterday) was that Bama, FSU, and WVU were all on even ground.

Even if he never got to play a down at Bama, just the fact that an almost legendary high school athlete like ND chose the Tide would be a boost to the program.

And who knows, he just might make it.

I was wondering the same thing Vertical! You get two different ideas on Devine based upon which site you go to. The Rivals article said he had a terrific visit and enjoyed it very much, then you go to Scout and it almost appears as if we're not even in the running! :( I know which one I hope is right! ;) (and they probably are)
 
Scout is not a very reliable site. I like BOL, they are more accurate on most all of there stories than anyone else. Devine has an offer from us and we are not out of it for his signature. RTR!!!

I realize this but i am saying between now and a few days ago something has changed to make these four guys go from predicting for him to go to prep school to predicting him to go to a college....

Don't know how much he has made up but the last that I read regarding his schoolwork was that he was working hard and making marked improvement. Still, he had alot to do so his qualifying is still a concern but seems to be getting close.

I see what you mean. I hope he does make it to college and not prep school. Even if we don't get him i wish him the best. However, i think we have a good shot at him. I hope they are right about him making it. We could sure use him next year.
 
sorry to go from Devine to mcknight, but on the expert poll tthe fans vote him to Bama.... haha i guess that means something right?!?!
 
Maybe so but optimistic people usually win out over pessimistic ones. Maybe if we have that attitude our players will get it.

Read that in one of the latest articles about Noel. If he is indeed headed for JUCO or one of the academies then it would not matter if he keeps taking visits but they may not be free (paid for by the host) visits. NSD is the first day a recruit can sign, not the last day or the only day.
