If you regard Iraq a complete failure on every level, and the absolute wrong thing to have done, then sure placing all that blame at George Bush's feet is logical and it's difficult to impossible for him to overcome in the "worst president ever" contest.

But you must remember he had the support of Congress - including the Democrats.

Barack Obama has broken the law so often you can't count the times he's done so anymore. So his ideology tells him it's ok to have broken the law in order to do all of this stuff and that would be one thing if the stuff we're talking about has been the best thing for this country. It has not been, however. It's been the worst thing.

I assume you are referring to "weapons of mass destruction".

Is it your contention that Saddam Hussein's regime never possessed such weapons? Is it your contention that Saddam Hussein's regime never attempted to create or otherwise acquire such weapons? Is it your contention that no weapons of mass destruction were ever found in Iraq following the First Gulf War? Is it your contention that Saddam Hussein's regime cooperated fully with the United Nations and complied with all disarmament requirements following the First Gulf War?

I got the same schtick from Brits when I was living in the UK 2005-2007.

We didn't go there for WMDs, we went there to gain control of one indisputable asset and turn it over to our economic overlords. Mission accomplished.

Not sure which invasion you are referring to, but after the first Gulf war, a significant quantity of chemical weapons were apparently confiscated by the United Nations.

I recall hearing about Israeli intelligence reports that had Iraqi chemical weapons being shipped to Syria. But, who knows what is true, what is disinformation, or what is completely made up by "sources"?
