Clark looked to as leader
Yesterday Jeremy Clark was a wide-eyed freshman being taken under the wing of veteran Kenny King on the Alabama defensive front.

Today Clark, a Daphne High School graduate like King, is a rising senior going through his final spring workouts with the Crimson Tide.

"In the blink of an eye," Clark said, you go from rookie to senior.

More Practice Observations

I went to the practice on 02/24/06 and I noticed that the defensive tackles and ends are kinda slim in numbers. We have to find a pass rusher to meet the standards set by Mark Anderson. Bobby Greenwood does not have that capability . Wallace Gilberry should be strong like last year on the other end. One other thing I did notice was the intensity at the practice was very high.

I read in an article earlier that Greenwood was the least hyped end out there coming into UA. No one had even heard of Gilberry until he stepped on campus, so that is as least-hyped as it gets. "A football player can't be made to be good, he actually has to prove it." :) If you know what I mean.......

Are you serious? Bobby Greenwood is an excellent pass rusher. If there are any concerns it is holding up at the point of attack against the run, but he can flat out get in the backfield. He was second on the team in sacks as a TRUE FR, in a backup role.
