In no particular order...just the Best 5 names out there that might fit and are Creative and Aggressive

Offensive Coordinator:

1) Jeff Lebby - (OU) Kiffin Tree w/ SEC exp at Ole Miss
2) Garrett Riley - (TCU) Lincoln Riley's Brother and had a Top 15 Offense at SMU and Top 5 at TCU
3) Phil Longo - (UNC) Leach Tree w/ SEC exp at Ole Miss and Top 10 Offenses at UNC
4) Jeff Grimes - (BU) Top 5 Offensive at BYU and Top 15 at Baylor
5) Zach Kittley - (TT) Top 5 Offense at WKY w/ Zappe

Defensive Coordinator:

1) Jim Leonhard - (WIS) Several Top 5 and 10 Defenses and Creates lots of Turnovers
2) Phil Parker - (Iowa) Top 5 Defenses at Iowa and Creates lots of Turnovers
3) Glen Schumann - (UGA) Kirby tree at UGA and knows the system.
4) Mike Tressel (Cincy) Top 10 Defenses at both Mich St and Cincy
5) Jeremy Pruitt - *If Available in ANY way* is my #1 Choice

I'm not saying anyone on these lists are sure fire can't miss hires because you never know but pick anybody from my 2 lists and they would be MASSIVE Upgrades over what we currently have.

That's my 2 cents
Love the suggestions, tusk. So many people just throw rocks. You’ve offered solutions.

I’m not knowledgeable enough to evaluate them, but the fact that you’ve named both names and multiple alternatives garners huge respect.

For starters, the DC needs to be shown the door...........the defense aint cutting it
Easy to make that call from these seats. All I am saying is let us just see what happens next. Maybe Coach has lost his mojo and he will retire at the end of the season. At least, that seems to be becoming the consensus from what I can tell. I got a better observation...how about, "can't win em all." I mean, the guy has won 87% of his games over 16 years with no input from us. Bet he has a plan.

I have stayed out of this conversation for the most part, and at this time will only say this:
1. Coach Saban is still the best HC in college football, but change is needed, will he willing to make the hard decisions relative to changes in his staff?
2. Bill O'Brien is better suited as an OC in the NFL. He needs to go.
3. Pete Golding would be better suited at an FCS school. He needs to go.
4. I do not think our talent level is where most on here think it is. Too much reliance on rating services. UGA has more talent than us and LSU is at least equal if not better also.
5.Too much assistant coach hiring emphasis has been placed on recruiting and not enough on teaching. There has to be some balance between the two.

Yep, we shall. Let us hope for all us Crimson Lovers that he has not lost his mojo because that will be the end of the greatest football dynasty in history and beginning of our decline into mediocrity. Don't know what you got till it's gone.
I dont know................I'm not sure the administration at Bama will allow them to sink into the abyss. I think they will go out and snag a great coach. Wont be any Mike Prices or DuBoses

Will Healy Has head-coaching experience at Austin Peay FCS... has head-coaching experience at Charlotte... he ran a vaunted offense with shades of RPO, zone read and pass happy option...Thought of as an elite recruiter and talent developer

What are you talking about man? Think the barn admin wants to suck so badly? We lucked up on the Saban hire. Remember what Mal said (God bless his soul). He was headed to Cuba from Miami if Nick didn't get on that plane.
