It seems as though we have a lot more confusion getting to the line of scrimmage, getting properly set, making changes and then getting the play off. Even our version of no huddle is not really fast paced.

Does Kiffin rely on someone in the pressbox to discuss the defensive alignment to look at his chart and find a play? Does anyone know the organization of his chart...down and distance?...pass/run?

Tread lightly trying to get into Lane Kiffin's mind. Sometimes I wonder if even he knows what he's doing. A genius to his detriment at times

Yeah, I certainly don't understand why he calls the plays he does. He doesn't seem to understand the concept of making the other team stop something that is working.

But watching Coker during games, Coker seems to get frustrated with how long it takes to get a play call in. Which probably impacts the OL as well by not giving them enough time to figure out and communicate blocking assignments.

I often wondered what goes through his mind as he is calling plays. I think the only way he truly can be the best OC playcaller if he can learn to go with flow of the game, If we're pounding the ball in and we're moving up ... Call the right plays. Funny thing is.. Kiffin is good at 3rd and 4th down play calling, but he's not so good at 1st and 2nd downs... What I want to know is what is his scripted play calling when the game is called.

Lane Kiffin's process:

Tell team to hurry up; make them wait while I read the defense
Survey field; see how defense is lined up
Look at laminated sheet and find perfect play
Realize that play calls for Henry to touch the ball; pick different play
Scan sheet: here's one for Ridley!
Time running down, better signal a play in
Signal Coker the play using these fun new cards (Supersonics!)
Watch as Coker and team scramble to get set and hike the ball with 10 seconds left
Slap coach's hands when he tries to call a timeout
Raise hands in air once ball is hiked and I have match-up I like
Become YouTube sensation when play actually turns out to be a touch down
