*Please remember that this is a game thread. The purposes of these are to keep those updated who can't see or listen to the game and to provide companionship among those who understand and appreciate basketball. It's a place for us to celebrate or commiserate. Basketball is a game of shifting momentum and sizable leads regularly evaporate. Those who don't know this (or have a "glass one tenth full" personality) really should stay out of the game thread and keep their despair to themselves. As always - no bashing of coaches, players or fellow Bama fans - all are trying as hard as they can...

Agreed. I missed the first 9 minutes of the game and we already had about 7 team fouls and 9 turnovers when I started listening. It seems like we may have settled down a bit over the last 5 minutes of the half. Hopefully that will continue in the second half. We need to win this game.....

I thought we played pretty well, once we settled down. We benefited from UF missing A LOT of shots. Boykins (sp?) did hit two 3-pointers in a row. He's a very streaky shooter. Hopefully he won't get hot. Our foul trouble has me a bit concerned, but the refs are calling a good game.

Just got in..had taxes done and a visit to dentist this evening after work...yes im sadistic i guess...anyway last 3:23 I saw we looked like we were competing pretty well...big 2nd half coming up.

Halftime might be a blessing with him heating up like that...make him re find his rythym..hopefully he wont

We did good to have it tied at half. Hopefully we come out hot in the 2nd half!

I'm optimistic that its tied at the half but if Florida had been hot we would have been down by 20. Call it great defense or what but Florida missed a bunch of wide open shots till the very end. Our rebounding is bad and no outside shooting what so ever. The good news is that we didn't play very well as a whole and still tied. We all know what a difference a second half can be so lets hope our guys come out on fire. They started picking up at the very end before the half as so did Florida so I am hoping!
