  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

Well, the Barn deserves credit for their game-plan, play-calling, and execution but - as poorly as we played in this game - we would have lost to Tennessee tonight.

I'll try to be as polite as possible but this one deserve some bite in my opinion:

This was by far one of our worst efforts as a football program since the 2003 season...and that was with a coach who didn't get hired until after Spring camp, never had built a playbook for college football (didn't even realize the hashmark difference until some point in September), huge NCAA sanction depth problems.

Injuries affected things on defense but the offense flat out let us down. The defense held them to 26 while a bit gimped and short handed. The offense needed to produce and they were flat out awful. Playcalling, execution, etc. This was awful and not in-keeping with the uniform they wear.

Well, I have to wear an Auburn tie tomorrow when I preach. A little wager an AU fan and I made back in the summer. Im a good sport and can take it when I dish it out ;)

Self destructing mistakes and a good opponent = a loss for the good guys. One drive showed how much better we were than them- the opening drive of the second half.
