This game was never really in doubt. I hate the way some things went. The refs were atrocious. We struggled with their receivers, but their receivers are really good (and so is Allen). Yeah, there is a lot to clean up, but that was top 20 team fired up to beat us at home and we beat them by 19.

We are 6-0 with a freshman QB. The next 2 weeks will tell the story of the season.

Some ugly play, some really ugly refereeing, but a nice, comfortable win over #16 Arkansas.

If this Bama team starts clicking, it will be scary good. Like better than anything I think I've ever seen in CFB...

To many 3rd and long given up. What should have been a 30 point win some how looked ugly and could have been worse if not for NOTs.

Roll Tide

The officials kept this closer than it should have been. Saban will have plenty to work on this week

The win was easier than I expected. The D was a bit shaky at times leaving Arky receivers open but I'm sure that will be focused on during practice next week.

Good game against a good team. Our defense can clean it up some...but I like what I see on offense. And two defensive TD's!! I will take it.

Btw, love seeing Holly Rowe out there. What a fighter!

Tried to post this in the score thread but it closed! But here you go:

Again, thanks a lot guys for the score updates. Especially Earle.

I'm sure Beliema did some typical loser stuff like take meaningless timeouts at the end and keep his starters in to make the score look closer.

I know football isn't exactly the most important thing with flash floods and downed trees and whatnot, but I really appreciated the updates that I read in the candlelight.

Roll Tide and crush the Big Orange!

Refs were horrible and I would file a complaint with the SEC office because they did their best to keep the hogs in the game. Every third down it was something, bogus roughing call, pass interference or just a bad no call of holding on their o-line/TE's!!! The only PI I saw all night was the one on Humphrey, the others were bogus. I would definitely call about that kid pinning Hurts down by his neck. Was it me or did anyone not notice after every play that they didn't catch a pass they looked at the refs and berty boy would run right up to one of the refs and chew his ear off! If that guy would spend as much time coaching as he does complaining and crying to the refs, the Hogs might be just a little better.

I used to tell people that the easiest way to get a 1st down against Bama was go 3rd and 40.....guaranteed 1st down. I right the team was over that crap....

This game ended up being a lot easier for Bama than I thought it would be. Yeah the defense was a little sloppy tonight but the win was solid just the same. From the first few minutes it seemed Bama was never really threatened by the Hogs. Looking forward to the game in Knoxville next week.

Bielema did keep his starters in after the game was clearly out of reach and it got them a TD. If I'm Saban I remember that and run the score up on him next year in Tuscaloosa.
