if this is the incident you guys are talking about, BOB was not in the wrong...No not really. I remember watching that play out on live television.

Jess is correct in his statement on BoB. That being said, can any of you imagine Kiffin or Sark with a weapon like Gibbs? Oh My Goodness.I'm sure this has been covered earlier in the thread, but my thought during the game was that BoB's "plan" didn't put Milroe in the best position to succeed. In the last day or 2, people who know more than I do have shared that opinion. Milroe was incredibly hesitant on almost every drop back. I wondered about the WRs play since they weren't often visible onscreen (including any sort of efforts to come back to the ball when plays broke down). Jess in his recap said BoB is responsible for scheming our WRs open but it's just not happening with any consistency this season.
Milroe is a phenomenal athlete and by all accounts a great kid. He has a tremendous upside but was set up to struggle by his OC's scheme.
Can you imagine what a jet sweep to one of these speed merchants on the team would look like?Jess is correct in his statement on BoB. That being said, can any of you imagine Kiffin or Sark with a weapon like Gibbs? Oh My Goodness.
I'm reminded of Blake Sims hitting Kenyan Drake on a go route against Florida in 2014. Kiffin knew it was a TD before the ball was snapped.Jess is correct in his statement on BoB. That being said, can any of you imagine Kiffin or Sark with a weapon like Gibbs? Oh My Goodness.
That blows my mind. I was born 1983. I still feel young though! But that 9/11 comment… that hits home.
1957 - the year I graduated high school...Well, if you want to talk societal changes, I was born in 1957. It's a really strange world compared to when I was a kid. But thanks to some good heart surgery last year, I still feel young too!!![]()
Tom Brady agrees with you. He admitted after the incident that he was wrong and deserved to be blistered by O'Brien. Btw, there are no lingering ill feelings, in fact, some time later I read an article where Brady and Edelman praised O'Brien and talked about how much they loved playing for him. Brady called him "Billy". (Of course someone will say that that means that he doesn't respect him for using such a familiar monikerif this is the incident you guys are talking about, BOB was not in the wrong...

Yeah he was. Trying to physically fight Brady on the sideline isn’t a good look even when you are right in the argument. That incident led to Kraft telling BoB to look for employment elsewhere along with other issues.if this is the incident you guys are talking about, BOB was not in the wrong...

Even Gary called it a TD before the ball was snapped.I'm reminded of Blake Sims hitting Kenyan Drake on a go route against Florida in 2014. Kiffin knew it was a TD before the ball was snapped.
the ball was tipped at the line. not sure if that was why they didn’t call it.trying to understand why it was not PI on last play ... did they not call it becos ball was uncatchable
I think that is why the closest official did not flag it; not catchable. The receiver was not really impeded from getting back to the ball and it never got close enough for him to touch it. Also, the contact came close to the same time that the ball got even with the receiver. I'm just going on what " I think I remember" seeing.trying to understand why it was not PI on last play ... did they not call it becos ball was uncatchable
