Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama vs. UGA...

5 OL coming in from the 26' class. portals will help as well.
There some schemes that need to change or it won’t matter if we bring an NFL line. Sometimes yall blame OL when it is a TE or a RB whiffing on assignments/ blocks. Other times we don’t use max pass protect and they blitz seven vs our 5. Yeah, there are some misses by guys up front (especially Proctor).

Look I want Bama in the playoffs but if they get left out, I'd understand why and definitely won't lose sleep over it.

I know good coaches do it and I am sure KD will this off-season, but KD needs to evaluate not just himself but he needs to evaluate his coaching staff hard this off-season. Something is not working and some changes HAS to be made. I think Sam Pittman NEEDS to be a priority higher for KD this off-season.

I believe Ty Simspon will be back but am I the only one who kind of hopes he goes to the NFL draft? I know the SEC Title (time for this game to be retired) will give NFL teams pause about him, but I kind of hopes he goes. Should he return, I will welcome him back.

If the Chicago Bears can fixed their OL in off-season, Bama can too.

With that said, I rather lose as a Bama fan than win as a GA fan anyday of the week. So, ROLL TIDE.

The Bulldogs held Alabama to 16 carries for minus-3 yards rushing, just the second time in school history the Tide have been held to negative yards rushing, after the 1968 Gator Bowl. They became the first team not to rush for a first down in an SEC championship game, according to ESPN Research. Their longest carry of the night was 5 yards.

P A T H E T I C! The offense tonight made Mike Sheila teams look impressive. I'm hoping CKD can get it done, but I also hope he realizes a soft, West coast style will not work in the SEC.

Just a very poor showing. Plenty of blame to go around - Grubb/schemes, Ty, OL, WR drops - but it ultimately all comes back to coaching. Defense is lights out and I believe we have the athletes we need on offense, as well. DeBoer and Co need to self-evaluate over the next two weeks, install some packages for the blitz because even if WRs are open, checks need to made, it's not working.

At some point in the game, Mack or Russell should have had some plays. I understand the joke about Kirby and QB2s but Coach needed a spark and Ty was not it tonight.

One final point: Milroe regressed last year after after coming on strong too. Our staff needs to learn to adjust when the film is out, especially after several weeks of poor offense. QB play last year took a lot of criticism but now I wonder.

I hope he does, too, but if he didn’t figure that out after one season how many more losses will it take for him to get the picture?

There is a lot of game film out now..no surprises so we need to be changing things up...but Grubb hasn't shown any change at all...we are easy to gameplan for

Exactly right. My point is the same end of season fall off happened last year and we can look back now with a new perspective in some ways. I hope the trend does not continue.

While we are venting, I haven't seen good half-time adjustments either. We rarely score more points in the second half as we do in the first. Very few explosive plays. Apparently, this is a ball control offense, but the pieces aren't fitting together very well.
