Yes. It takes the “we have to put in Miami so the ACC has a team” scenario off the table.I think a Virginia win helps us

There is a lot of game film out now..no surprises so we need to be changing things up...but Grubb hasn't shown any change at all...we are easy to gameplan for
Years ago the ACC seemed like an acronym for All Clemson Conference but now it seems like an acronym for Awful Coast Conference. So Miami wasnt in the ACC championship....and SMU is above them head to head in the ACC standings....and a 7-5 TEAM won your conference...how does the committee put Miami in? that would make no sense...because they beat ND....lol...ND should be out head to head too....
If that happens, there will be no 2026 SEC championshop, or any conference championship games, for that matter.Probably out of it now. Miami. Who got to sit at home and do nothing, will get in.
Vegas doesn’t think so. Odds barely moved after Duke won.Probably out of it now. Miami. Who got to sit at home and do nothing, will get in.

It’s fast tracked now. They aren't getting rid of the SECCG yet.
lets walk this through...Miami 3rd in its conference, not in a championship game and lost to the team ( SMU) who finished above them...best win..Notre Dame...ACC was won by a team at 7-5 and Miami played neither of these teams. ND is 1-2 against any ranked teams..and the rest of their schedule is garbage...we were #1 SEC ranked, beat the SEC champions at their place, won 4 other ranked games and have a SoS well above ND or Miami...seems pretty simple..we cannot be penalized for losing in a championship game, playing hurt IF the whole body of work is taken into consideration...flip side.....12 idiots get to decide....
If Bama gets left out, then they are liable to cancel it before the day ends tomorrow. Action would be very swift, so as to send a clear message. Unless, of course Greg Sankey is a corporate sellout, who doesn't have the best interest of the conference in mind. They aren't getting rid of the SECCG yet.
Amazing amount of negative records or streaks broken in the last two seasons and somehow still be in contention, it’s a head scratcherThe Bulldogs held Alabama to 16 carries for minus-3 yards rushing, just the second time in school history the Tide have been held to negative yards rushing, after the 1968 Gator Bowl. They became the first team not to rush for a first down in an SEC championship game, according to ESPN Research. Their longest carry of the night was 5 yards.
You got me on that one.He did try to sneak Justin Fields in a punt formation on 4th and 8 during a tied game with the playoffs on the line, and tried for a touchdown instead of the tie on 4th down during the first game vs us. So he does gamble in big moments in big games when logic and rationale says not to.
What in the blue hell do you gain for losing it? If we’re not in and sankey went to 9 conference games, fire his rear tomorrow afternoon. If that happens, there will be no 2026 SEC championshop, or any conference championship games, for that matter.
