What throw did he make that the other guys can't? The throw to the tight end was a designed play with one read. Milroe can make all the throws he just can't (or has not shown the ability to yet) read a defense.

Roydell did show me something.

The 45 yd rope to Dippre down the seam for one. Milroe can’t hit that and Buchner wouldn’t even try.

CNS: Everybody has opportunity to respond in right way when things don't go their way. Played guys that practiced best all week long.

Mental errors on OL. Missed protections. Got beat. Need to get that fixed and it's a consistent problem all year. Those are drive killers.

Simpson did ok. Missed some big plays. Managed game well. Ran quite a bit when he was in. Sacks weren't all his fault.

Were going to kick FG on play in 4Q where we drew them offside

At this point just let Ty Simpson take the reigns. One thing is for sure, playing musical qb ain't gonna work. Let TS play and gain experience and let's go from there.
Also, the Oline issue has got to be fixed and honestly I think it begins wit strength and conditioning. We couldn't push our way out of a sopping wet paper bag.....
Something is going on with coaching because there is no way we should be this bad.....PERIOD.

Milroe would have probably overthrown it like he did a few times against texas and Buchner would have thre it at his feet or 5 yards from him to the left or right like he did multiple time tonight.

CNS: most proud about guys answering the bell at end when needed. Had several guys out and that caused some issues on special teams. Start to lose players and next guy has to setp up.

Didn't execute well. But way we competed was outstanding.

their 4 4th down non-conversions is like 4 turnovers. huge.

We aren’t though, or at least we shouldn’t be. Ty won the job tonight IMO.
I definitely get your point. But I'm re-thinking my own assessment of Milroe against UTw, and wondering if I was too harsh. That OL is horrendous, and I'm thinking might have affected Milroe than Milroe's own weaknesses affected the OL.

After today's OL debacle, I'm just not sure. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Saban and Rees discuss it.

Looks like we have a starter at QB, a RB who stepped up. OLine needs work no doubt but we won and that counts for something with this young team. Have a great practice week and correct mistakes and see what happens next week. It is not all bad.

BamaNation, I think it was you that posted the radio link. Thank you for that. It was right with the broadcast and was easy to follow. I didn't have to listen to RGIII.

I’ve always thought Ty gives us the best chance and I’m glad he got his shot today. Now he needs to work on his pocket awareness or this line will get him killed. Rbs need to pick up pass protection.
