Where ever there's BBQ, Bourbon & Football
Roll Tide! Nervous as usual, but at least it is an early game so I will be able to eat afterwards. lol.
Hope we win with no injuries. Not sure what to think about the Missouri team with their SOS, but if Bama can stop their run game and have no turnovers and limit penalties, we will win!
If "Im getting beat" it wouldn't be by the run. I'd force their QB to beat me with his arm and legs.

I think Texas wins today - even if Mateer plays.

Near the end of the summer before my freshman year, I broke a bone in my throwing hand - spiral fracture in my pointer finger.

It was three months before throwing anything felt normal. My intramural football team came in second and our basketball team won the league. Still, every time I threw the football without concentrating on my throwing motion, the ball came out weird. It was five games into the basketball season that I realized it finally felt normal...

We got Jason Autrey's crew as refs today.... ugh! One of the worst if not the worst crew in the SEC.
why does Sankey keep letting this crew work big games I have no idea

best case scenario is that we get out to a big lead early so the ref show doesn’t take over

This game wouldn't be as big of a deal for Alabama if we hadn't of lost the first game. Going into this stretch of the schedule that first game loss is getting "heavy". Granted, what's done is done and we have to deal with where we are now. But we are in one helluva tight spot with wiggle room and how many more losses we can have before being left out. We really need this game tomorrow. We need it more than Missouri.
Well, as CNS used to say "don't waste a loss" (or something like that). The FSU debacle got the whole organization's attention.

Yes, it makes it tighter, but it also makes for more urgency to not lose again!

And it helps that the last two opponents came into the game with no losses. That gets your attention too!!!

Get ready for an extra long game today with Autrey's crew out there. If it is a close game, they are happy to decide it themselves. Plenty of penalties, reviews that take forever, and potentially a play where they'll get it wrong because they don't know the rules.

They are the worst in the conference, and that's a pretty extreme level to reach.

From GROK-

Alabama edges out a gritty road win, 28-24. The Tide’s aerial attack exploits Missouri’s secondary, while their defense forces enough stops to overcome the Tigers’ rushing edge—though expect a late scare from Mizzou’s balanced offense in a game that stays under the total.. [\QUOTE]
