Sounds scary and horrible. I pray he has more movement and recovers quickly and that his parents can get there quickly. Prayers for the entire team and all coaches too. Must have been emotional to see.

Prayers sent. Hearing this gave me chills and not in a good way. Hope he is ultimately OK.

I was there and that was scary...if Damarcus Thomas gets good advice he will forget football and focus on school. He evidently has some sort of spinal weakness...don't push that one, please!!
I just saw this and pray for his full recovery. I agree with the Padre, my first thought was Chuckie Mullins.

Same thing happened with my son, and that’s exactly what we did. That was his last year playing. Not fun when the helicopter is landing on the 50yd line and you know it’s for your kid. In our case, thankfully turned out to be a super-severe stinger with a full recovery, but had every early sign of being a catastrophic spinal injury.

Good for him and you...the one reservation I have about being a fan of CFB is the toll this sport takes on the bodies of those who play...they sacrifice their bodies for our pleasure...and that's not good.

Yep. I feel it in my joints and bones every day. Many moons ago, I thought I could run thru a brick wall. Sitting here now in my office and back, legs, neck and hands hurt .
My 6 yr old grandson loves baseball right now and I want ever press him to play football. Of course if he wants to that's another thing. He might grow up and play QB at The University of Alabama.
