CJW will retire at Bama. He's had the opportunity to take some of the other top jobs in the country and turned them down. The only way he would leave is to get another Bochrath in here as AD. There is one high in the Dept. that would be a problem.

Play Ball, who all has CJW turned down? I've got a few teams I'm thinking, but would like to know.

CJW is a great guy and he will end his career at the Capstone!

As a person, he is as good as they come. Easy to talk with. As a coach, 38 sumed it up the best. Can't argue with those numbers. They speak for themselves.
When Coach Wells arrived here, he won immediatly. Won an SEC Championship and got to Omaha in his second year. Played for a National Championship in his third year.
He has been in Regional Finals every year he has been here except 2001.
All this success playing in the toughest conference division of NCAA Baseball.
Not a bad coach.
