Be sure to check out the Bama Blast event a few days before the Fall semester starts. Lots of free food and "stuff" to get. I swear, half of my cup-ware I keep in my dorm is from Bama Blast tents. Mellow Mushroom gives out a 100 oz (or something really big) mug.

Congrats to you BB. I have big news too and decided not to start a new thread since this was already here BUT I will also be headed (back) to UA this fall teaching class!!!! I am so excited. I may actually pick up a second class to teach but will not know for sure for a couple of weeks (it all depends on whether I get a new job).

I graduated in '98 and had a blast there (got a pretty good education there too).

Sadly, some of my favorite things about Tuscaloosa are gone now like the Chukker and Vinyl Solution, but you still have Egan's and of course the Tide! (... but if you'll be a freshman, you shouldn't be going to Egan's :wink: ).

I loved walking across campus everyday to classes and seeing Denny Chimes and Bryant Denny Stadium. Always made me proud.

What does OT mean any ways? I'm off on these acronyms. Because I noticed my sister started the thread, but I was still looking for something about offensive tackles or overtime. Yep one more year of looking out for my lil sis. then I will be "graduated" myself. Congrat sis on the whole graduation thing. Just don't follow me around too much next year, and def enjoy the everyday walk across campus. I think my walk freshmna year is going to be slihgtly better than yours though. JMO.
