I talk a lot of football when I'm playing down at the gulf and ALL of the more knowledgeable people talk about how clean his footwork is. I know that's rumor but it's almost unfair to have that height/weight and coaches are talking about your feet and hands! To adapt so well to OT in one season also says something about his brain. Big may not be the best of it.

Well finally something directly from D.J. Fluker about his projected postion at Alabama. In an interview he says that CNS has told him that he can play either OL or DL at Bama. Fluker said if the Bama coaches leave it up to him he would like to play OT.

I have moved Fluker from DT to OT on the [ame=http://tidefans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73831]2009 Alabama Commitments and Prospects List[/ame]

Well there ya go. I guess the big man loves manhandling the man in front of him and driving him all over the field. He will be a great one for us. Future Sunday performer at OT. No doubt about it.

You got that right. Fluker is just oozing with future pro potential IMO, wanting to play OT is a smart choice for him IMO as well. :)

I tell you after watching his latest video with Fluker playing OT, I think he would be unbelievably good on either the OL or DL. Can you imagine Fluker spelling Cody at NG? It would be unfair to the competition. :eek2:
If (probably unlikely) Andre stays another year, I'd like to see Fluker lined up at tight end on the left side with Cody at halfback/fullback on the goal line.

To me I think he belongs at LT. As good as he could be on defense, he just looks like the next Walter Jones or Jonathan Ogden at LT. He has that kind of size, ability, and mental makeup.

I can't wait to get this kid on campus!!
