Now all of last year he was getting standing ovations and people writing articles about how he is their next Brady.

This year he apparently sucks and this new guy is the next Brady.

I hope Mac gets traded to a team that needs a QB and will appreciate him and give him some actual weapons help him.

That's just about all sports fans, to be honest. "What have you done for me lately" type of attitude. Matt Patricia is getting more comfortable with running the offense, the running game is a serious threat, so once Mac comes back the offense will get that much better.
Yes, a lot of fans are like this, but I have never seen 5 separate articles written in one week before.

Not surprising. Most NFL fans are, for lack of a nicer way of putting it, less than intelligent when it comes to personnel matters. The bad thing is, most NFL executives are worse.

The Eagles and Dolphins went out and signed weapons to help Hurts and Tua. Where was this from the Patriots? When have you ever seen the Patriots do this under Belichick's leadership? The only time I can remember is when they went out and got Moss and Stallworth. And that team absolutely dominated the league until the Super Bowl which was a rematch.

The Patriots are not winning another Super Bowl "the way things have always been done" because Brady is gone. The reason it won't work with Mac Jones that way is because patience doesn't exist to allow him to grow into that kind of a QB.

Hopefully I am wrong.

Well

1) the Patriots are stuck in their ways. They have a stubborn old man as a head coach and a nickel and dimer as an owner. It worked when they had three committed heads of the organization and when they all got along. But now the Patriots seem more lost in the post Brady era where they find it impossible to justify their way of doing things. They went all in on SB 53 and they paid the price with the cap for doing so. Now they are stuck having to figure things out again. It’s why if you go big then you better not miss. Look at the Rams now… They went from an unstoppable force to a middle of the road team in a matter of months.

2) Boston fans are fickle as hell. They will turn on you at the drop of a dime if you aren’t winning a championship every year. So them turning on Mac isn’t surprising at all. Until they are able to close the gap between them and the Bills they won’t be happy. Which that ain’t happening anytime soon.

3) I pretty much saw the issues with Mac and the Patriots coming from day 1. It’s why I was hoping for just about every organization other than the Patriots. When you have been winning a certain way for over 20 years it’s hard to get out of your own way. Even when the wheels are falling off. Look at their signings in the off-season and their draft picks. They did themselves absolutely no favors

The patriots next 3 games are Detroit, Cleveland, and Chicago. If they go 0-3 with the guy that is totally the next Tom Brady, the fan base might run Belichick out of town

How long is Mac out for?

Detroit and Cleveland with both be difficult outs. Chicago's offense is so bad. That one would be unforgivable.
I am so late on this but do people realize how bad Chicago offense is? It's to a point that Bears fans are asking who would win: Chicago Bears offense or their defense? This would be the replaceable force .v. the stoppable object.

If NE cannot beat the Bears, then I will begin to doubt Belichick HOF credentials.

I can't even watch the NFL right now.

Tua and Mac getting hurt (and seemingly every Bama NFL player) has taken the starch out of me.

Plus the Broncos have the worst Offense they've had in almost 40 years of me being a Denver fan.

I just can't watch BoB on Saturday followed by Denver on Sunday right now....lol
