Just a thought...
A rivalry game is tense, no doubt.
But, based on the incident between South Carolina (6-5) and Clemson (6-5) this weekend, is it possible that the NCAA could impose disciplinary actions and deny play in the Peach Bowl (if Clemson were elected for the Peach)? If this happened, would Bama be next in line for an invitation (6-5), or would Florida (7-4)?
It would probably be a long-shot for either team to apologize for the incident, and deny their invitations, so that's why I'm curious...

Thanks,
CK

Florida basically sealed the bid for the Peach Bowl when they beat Florida State. They would rather have a 7-4 team than a 6-4 team. I think that we would be the second choice over South Carolina.

Clemson's issues have no affect upon the Peach Bowl

as far as the SEC is concerned. If Clemson didn't go, it would be another team from the ACC and not the SEC. The two teams that play the game are one from the SEC and one from the ACC...you would never have two ACC or two SEC teams in a bowl.
