I expect Alabama to win but not cover; given Jess' assessment of the strength of ULM's D-line and RBs relative to ours, something like 35-10.

CKD is in a short-term no-win scenario. If Alabama covers or better today, it'll be taken as proof the team was underprepared last week, which raises serious questions about the off-season. If Alabama wins by only a couple of scores, it'll be proof the team didn't take last week's loss to heart or this week's opponent seriously, which raises other serious questions about the in-season. I'm assuming a tighter margin, let alone an Alabama loss, is too implausible to consider.

After last week, this team's W-L record matters less than seeing steady improvement in coaching, play, and attitude over the course of the season. It's an imperfect analogy, but what I now think is the most reasonable thing to hope for is something like 1990 - took a few games to gel, including a rough start, and then closed out the season strong (bowl game excepted), setting us up for a good run in the seasons that followed.

I say it's what I'm hoping for; but as we all know, hope is not a strategy.

After the debacle against FSU last week, it's impossible too know this week, with the kinda team effort we've seen..

There's nooooo way in hell id bet on Alabama this week & I'm expecting a lottttt tougher game than it should or needs too be in all honesty..

Bama will win huge. If all 3 of our QB's play like planned, we will still score a lot.... just maybe not cover. I'm looking forward to seeing starters and backups play. Weather should be great. Great atmosphere. Lots of recruits will be there.

Main thing I am worried about is that we have no more injuries. Need to keep people healthy for the Wisconsin game and all SEC play. I think Bama comes out looking focused, shows effort, and has a better attitude. Players and coaches will hopefully be in the right mindset.

I honestly have no idea. I don’t anticipate a loss. However, I could easily see a win that feels like a loss. I am starting to fear that lack of conditioning is part of our problem.

I will say a disappointing 34-14 win for Alabama.

Some mods on BOL had an article from local reporters saying that the coaches hoped to be able to play all QB's. I assume Austin Mack then Keelon. I think we will score with all 3 of them.
