I'm wondering what everyone is doing tomorrow night to watch 'Bama take on Oklahoma.

I'm having a party at my house tomorrow night.
I'm cooking a couple of King Ranch Chicken casseroles, friends are bringing queso, guacamole, etc.
Mexican themed meal.
And a shot of Fireball everytime Bama scores.

Re: Plans for Tomorrow Night -

Ummmm. I’m in Dallas. Murphy actually.
What time should we be there??

Re: Plans for Tomorrow Night -

Watching with friends and family, but at home for the first time in many years.

Re: Plans for Tomorrow Night -

I prefer to watch the game at home.
I’m not going hunting in the morning so I will be wide awake.

Plans for Tomorrow Night -

Just my wife and I at home. We'll eat an early supper, then snacks. Probably sausage balls with chips and cheese dip.
And banana bread.

The EscaTider crew is at Disney. Nice outdoor bar at the resort. May go that route, or will end up watching in the room. Crowds are too large everywhere else. Tried weeks ago to get a reservation at the ESPN club at Disney's Boardwalk, to no avail.

If you walk up to ESPN Club about 2-3 hours before kick-off, they will let you occupy a table all night to watch the games. This is where I have watched the games for the last 6 or 7 years. Only had a reservation once, during the 2016 championship game, in the big room at the back. Had a minimum bill of $200 that one time, but there were 4 of us and we spent that without effort.

Breaking open this gift and hunkering down at home to watch the game. If we are victorious I’ll throw on a Bama hoodie and meander around town as the area I live is crawling with OU fans

If we were there this year, I would have saved a table for you. Kinda bummed not to be there - feels like we are breaking up a great family tradition. I have met a ton of great Alabama fans there.

I prefer to watch at home. I like to focus on the game and not worry about what I am saying during the game. Looking for the Tide to Roll.

Met some great fans this week, but not this morning. Shared a bus seat with a Sooner couple. Began the conversation by saying "oh, a Bama fan. We'll talk slower." [emoji849]

It just went south from there. Went through the whole list- what year did you graduate from Bama? How many national championships do you REALLY have? You were nothing before Saban. You guys have mastered the art of cheating, etc.

My response shut them down and even got a chuckle from a Syracuse fan: "This dynasty run we've been on has been incredible- indescribable really. But the one thing that pushes it over the top and gives me the greatest joy, is the absolute MELT down that takes place by me merely walking into a room- or sitting down on a bus- with a Bama hat on. Thanks! You guys have a great day!"

Re: Plans for Tomorrow Night -

Smoking a pork butt, having some family and friends over to watch. Expect they will be gone at halftime whatever the score.. Drinking a little Geo Dickel over ice and pacing the floor until we have it in the bag. That's my story and I'm sticking to it...RTR!!

You are going to be hammered drunk by halftime.

Re: Plans for Tomorrow Night -

I'll be watching the game alone. I get too nervous to be around other people.
I've tried a few times watching in groups, even taking a laptop and minding the game thread at the same time. Maybe it's age, but I just can't do it any more. People are talking and laughing, not really watching the game, while I'm watching every little detail the cameras will show me. Nowadays, it's just in the company of my wife, who's actually a pretty acute observer, although she doesn't watch every second like I do...

We will have the TVs set up in a few rooms. The main TV in our den is for serious fans only. No conversation beyond the cheers and high fives after a big Alabama play or TD.

The casual fans are watching the game on the other side of the house. I am not good company during games like this.
