I agree completely. Corso was like Jerry Lewis and Kirk was his Dean Martin. I spent many Saturdays entertained by them.

I used to not like Corso many years ago, but I have no problem with him now. As many have already said, he's entertaining. I certainly don't always agree with him, but I like him ok.
Holtz is a different story. He's a joke.
Corso gets all the hate because people don't take him for what he does. If you want the more serious break down listen to Herbstriet. Corso knows more then what people give him credit for, he is just more of a showman like was said before.
I may be in the minority, but I like things as they are now. Herbie and Corso go great together, and Fowler has been there so long, I can't imagine him not being a part of the team. Adding Ravich would suck majorly. I can't even stand him on Baseball Tonight.
All I can say is those three guys are irreplaceable. Replace them and College Gameday will NEVER be the same again.
People don't like Herbstreet and Corso simply because they are "biased" toward every team in the NCAA (you would think considering it comes from every team's fan base). Their replacements will receive the EXACT same complaints.

Corso has been with ESPN for more than 20 years now and it's probably time to move on . Fowler sucks and without the Gameday gig , hopefully he'll become exactly what he deserves - forgotten . Herbie ? Either remove him from the ABC games with Musburger or pull him from Gameday . One or the other . If not , they're going to kill him before he turns 45 . He was burnt from all of the hours and travel by November of last season and it showed . I used to work 16-20 hour days in the biz on football Saturdays and even with extremely limited travel it wore me down when I was only 17 to 26 years old :eek2: I was absolutely dead by the end of every season .
I wouldn't mind seeing the old studio crew take the reigns - Rece , May & Alberts .

I like the show fine the way it is now, but, if they have to change it, this is the way to go.
Maybe Fulmer, Holtz, and Tuberville will do Game Day now

I don't believe this is real. there is nothing anywhere else nor is it on the ESPN site, not even as a side article or blurb. I believe this is just off-season chatter and some writer giving his opinion or making stuff up. this is the internet you know
I am not so sure about the truth here either but you never know. Some of the hosts maybe ready to move on themselves.
Until it's time for an official announcement the LAST place I'd expect to find this is would be the ESPN website.
I agree with those who say "leave it alone"...Corso is the lovable goof of the three...Holtz could be the death blow to the group - he's terrible.
I loved the show the way it was. I even like Chris Fowler. I think he's pretty darn logical and fair. Dumb move by ESPN in my opinion.
