Question: Posting ESPN links / embedded video

I've seen quite a few threads with links to ESPN articles that include embedded videos that have nothing to do with the link or the thread. Most of the time it seems like they're commercials, then give links to various recent videos from ESPN, but that again have nothing to do with the link. Are users posting these videos on purpose, or is every ESPN link for some reason causing a random ESPN commercial to be embedded? It's kind of strange having these random embedded videos everywhere that don't relate at all to the threads they're in.

Can somewhat explain what's going on with these?

Well, guess that's not it. So why do all these embedded videos keep getting posted?

I tried to post a link to a story in another thread and it embedded a video that was a commercial instead. No idea whey it did it. May have something to do with ESPN not wanting links to certain articles posted elsewhere on the web. Who knows.
