Practice begins on Monday...

Since there is no school on Monday, there are no practice limitations. So they are planning to practice twice on Monday. You can plan on an all day affair. If you're off Monday and needing something to do, you may want to go watch the Tide begin the '03 season. For the curious, Shaud has been trying 2B out, but he looks like he hasn't played in a while. But, he is a quick learner and a very hard worker. Time will tell if he can add to the team. Of course, his attitude alone may add to the team from what I understand... great kid.

Geez, I wish Montgomery wasn't so far away. I'm already planning on going to the LSU series, and hopefully a few more. I'm not expecting another 51-15 season, but I think we should make the NCAA's this year. We will really need to rely on our good pitching. Beau is primed for a big year. Got any word on the newcomers? I heard we were getting a stellar JUCO catcher and another one from HS (GA I believe.) RTR

The HS catcher just signed. Will not see him till next year. The catcher spot is wide open with some good competition for the job. Burns looks good, Marshall looks solid, Lyons has the tools, but may need time to grasp this level of play. Beagle should help at pitcher. Hopefully Mennen will be ready to help. Reed is back, so that should help alot. This team could have the makeup of a very good baseball team, but it may take time. If we can be consistant at the plate, we will be fine.

ah come on Bo, i live in Montgomery, i bought season tickets for the first time this year! its not that far (g)

actually i have friends there that i stay with so its easier to go over for the weekend games.

Bama, I'm already planning on attending the LSU series. Being swamped with school work for the most part on the weekends, it makes it really hard to make it up for a series. If I do end up at Bama for college, I'm going to apply to be a baseball trainer/manager, then I won't have a problem missing anything
