This passed week-end Casey a 4th grader was in a very serious car accident. His 16 year old sister was driving, Casey unbuckled his seat belt, she turned to tell him to buckle up and ran off the road over compensated coming back on and Casey was thrown from the vehicle. He coded at the scene. This morning he under went 2 1/2 hours of surgery to remove a part of his skull so the brain could swell out and blood could access the brain. Under the circumstances he is doing o.k. heavily sedated.
It is very encouraging knowing that across the miles prayers will be lifted up for this child.
Please continue praying for this child - we received a phone call from his mom just before church tonight, Casey has taken a turn for the worse. If there are no signs of towards improvement tomorrow they will have to make the decision to begin removing life support if he does not respond to the attempt to awake him. They have already begun the process of reducing the medications that have kept him asleep.
Casey passed away late yesterday afternoon.
